Galane Gold Ltd. Announces Management Change

TORONTO, Oct. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Galane Gold Ltd. ("Galane Gold" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GG) today announced that effective immediately, Philip Condon has resigned as the Company's Chief Executive Officer and as a director of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Ravi Sood, the Chairman of Galane Gold, will assume the roles and responsibilities of the Company's Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis while the Company undergoes a process to identify a new Chief Executive Officer.
Ravi Sood commented, "We have an exceptional team in place at our operation inBotswana and are comfortable that we are appropriately staffed to meet our objectives including extending our resource base and expanding our production. The Board of Directors has reviewed the situation in detail and has full faith in the Company's personnel and their ability to execute on the Company's updated mine plan."
